The Boat, The Captain and The Crew
Your skipper is Captain Harry Rivera, originally from Puerto Rico, who grew up fishing the waters of the Caribbean. Captain Harry has more than 15 years of experience and knowledge fishing off the coast of Kauai.
The Mele Kai is fully equipped with quality Shimano tackle, depth sounders and G.P.S. Comfortably seating 6 persons in the shade, it features a large cockpit with fighting chair. All safety gear is provided.
During your trip, you will be able to observe some of our amazing natural habitat. Don't be surprised if you see whales or dolphins swimming around. You may also see endangered sea birds like the Blue Footed Booby. Take some time and see what our beautiful waters of Kauai have to offer.
Full days are recommended for offshore bill fishing.
Multiple Day Charters
Multiple day charters are for the serious fisherman or for people who want to see all the spectacular views around the Island. Why just sightsee when you can fish at the same time. In the summer time, we offer a two day trip around the whole Island. Our boat comfortably sleeps four, and we have a hot water shower on board. we also have stove and refrigerator (see boat pictures for details) The napali coast is one of the most majestic places in the world! We also offer a three day charter that goes around the Island of Kauai, the Island of Nihiiau and Kaula rock. These areas are west of Kauai and the fishing is usually spectacular with plenty of Dolphins, turtles, and monk seal sightings. The good thing about fishing in Hawaii is that your always in the zone. there is no down time. From the moment you leave the harbor, you are fishing the whole day until you reach your destination where you will anchor for the night.
